Worship One, Serve One

“Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had… he gave up his divine privileges and took the humble position of a servant.” Philippians 2:3-7

Worship is serving. To be like Christ is to be a servant.

Deuteronomy 10:12 says, “And now,Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? He requires only that you fear the Lord your God, and live in a way that pleases him, and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul.”

Worship One Serve One is a way of being. It’s an attitude of the heart to come to church not just to be spiritually fed, but to also provide food for others. Come week in and week out to join in worship with others – in singing, in hearing the Word, in giving, and in serving.

We invite you to step in, serve, and take part in what God is doing at Redeemer! Take some time to select what ministries you might serve in. Those ministries described in detail have the largest immediate need – please consider one of those! A ministry leader will be in touch to talk more about it with you.

Thank you for serving in obedience! Click on the link to get started.

We presently help support missionaries in the U.S. and overseas. Along with financial support, we seek to provide a base of prayer and encouragement to these ministries. We strive to challenge and encourage believers in our congregation to be involved in both short-term and career mission work for His Glory.

We believe God wants to reach the entire world with His love and forgiveness. To accomplish this we intentionally look for ways to express this Good News to the world through a variety of offerings that provide occasions to serve, both locally and throughout the world, regardless of age, schedule, or abilities.

Redeemer supports 17 full-time missionary couples/individuals at a variety of levels who are actively involved in either local or worldwide mission work. Additionally, we have had the privilege of helping feed the hungry and clothe the poor while serving alongside Foundation for His Ministry in Mexico and helping plant churches in Diphu, India and the Czech Republic.

Redeemer Church is involved in student ministries, sending people to regularly serve at the Milwaukee Rescue Mission along with a variety of opportunities to build friendships with internationals.

Over the past several years, we've had the privilege to send people from our congregation to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, France, India, Belarus, Chicago and we regularly send interested people to the Urbana Missions Conference held every 3 years.
