Family Fest — Family Fest is coming on Wednesday, September 6th! Join us for this free, fun community event to kick-off the Awana Club year. Many volunteers are needed to pull off this community event. A list of ways to help and sign-up is at the Welcome Desk. Sign-up today!
Awana Leaders Meeting — There is a Leaders Meeting on Wednesday, August 23 at 6:15 PM. This is an important meeting for ALL teens and adults working in Awana. If you are not currently a leader but have a desire to help children learn about Jesus, we are always in need of new teen and adult leaders. Please contact Earl Przybylski with any questions or for more information.
Awana Leaders Needed — Awana is in desperate need of help this fall especial for Cubbie leaders, sound board, worship time leader, and salvation bracelets. This spring we had some great leaders retire, find new job, or move from the area. Please pray fully consider helping this fall. If interested or have questions contact Earl Przybylski.
Women’s Bonfire — Ladies, you and your friends are invited to join us for a bonfire, sing-along, and a time of praise and prayer this Friday at 6:30 PM. Please bring a favorite hors d'oeuvre or dessert to share and a lawn chair. All this fun is at Dinah Krause's home (14075 W. Wilbur Dr, New Berlin). Please RSVP at the Welcome Desk or contact Dinah.
Congregational Meeting — Please join us at 9:45 AM on Sunday, September 10 for the annual congregational meeting. The main purpose of this meeting is to approve the 2017-18 church budget and receive 2016-17 annual reports. Please plan to attend and to participate. This is our Annual Corporation Meeting and a quorum is required. Attendance by all members is encouraged.
Wedgewood Opportunity Update — The appreciated breakfast has now become a barbecue lunch on Friday, September 15. Small groups, ABFs, families and individuals, this is a chance to serve as we grow our partnership with Wedgewood Park Int’l School.If interested or want more information contact Pastor Bob or sign up at the Welcome Desk.
Budget Preview Meetings — In August, we will have two informal cottage meetings for the purpose of introducing the proposed budget for 2017-2018. They will be on Sundays, August 13 & 27 at 9:45 AM in room 106. You are invited to attend either meeting and will be given the opportunity to ask questions about the proposal. We will vote on this budget at the annual congregational meeting on Sunday, September 10, 2017.
Traveling This Summer? — If you have plans to travel this summer, electronic giving gives you a convenient way to keep up with your intended tithes and offerings. Your consistent support is vital to our church, especially during the summer. To assist you, the church provides a convenient electronic giving option for setting up single or regular contributions. For details, contact the church office or go to the Giving link on this website.
Summer Office Hours — The church office will close at noon on Fridays throughout the summer months. We will resume full days on Fridays after Labor Day.
Momentum — All single adults (40+) are welcome on Friday nights at Redeemer, arrive between 6:30-7:00 PM (2nd Friday is off-site). It will be an intentional Christian community, striving to live a life centered on prayer, pursuing faithful relationship and seeking ministry opportunities. We are inclusive no matter what "life" has brought your way and we maintain a safe opportunity for fellowship. Invite others and come as you can.
Mentoring — Why not partner this winter with another believer to work through the challenges and joys of life where you become more effective in learning how to apply God’s Word to your life? Mentoring is unique because it offers you the chance to drill down a little deeper in your spiritual life through the encouragement, focus and accountability of a trained mentor. Do you have a place you call “community”? — Do you regularly have a group that challenges you to go to the next level in your spiritual formation through reading, prayer, the disciplines, the one-anothers? If you have to think for more than two seconds, the answer you're looking for is, "No, I don't have a community...yet." Now is a great time to start looking for Christian community. Prayerfully consider joining an Adult Bible Fellowship on Sunday mornings or a becoming a part of one of our small groups that meet throughout the week. More information contact Pastor Dave.
Moms Play Group — Enjoy a drop-in playtime for moms and children on Wednesdays from 9:00-11:00 AM at Redeemer Church. Contact Becky Lund if you have any questions.
Share Your Story — Redeemer is focused on unleashing the love of Jesus on 5,000 in 5 years and we would love to hear how God is using you to make inroads into the lives of others. Whether it is a relationship you're developing for spiritual conversations, an act of mercy in Jesus' name, peacemaking, or straight-up evangelism, the Story Box is at the back of the Worship Center for you to share how you are being part of God's redemption story!
Sunday Morning Prayer — Be a part of a morning prayer group every Sunday at 7:45 AM as we focus on praying for Sunday morning ministries in addition to the needs of the church family. Come as often as you can to be both encouraged and encourage members as they faithfully serve the church family through prayer!We meet upstairs in room 202. For more information contact John Stephan.
Young Adult Bible Study — Around the ages of 18-25 and need a weekly Bible study to get involved with? Tuesdays at 7:00 pm, we meet together as a community of young adults and students to dive into God's word and allow it to challenge and change us. Contact Mike Weiss for details!
