Prayer Walk — On Saturday, July 8th, we will have our first prayer walk of the summer. We will meet in the parking lot of the Whitnall Park Pond off of Whitnall Park Dr. at 8:30 AM and spend 90 minutes both enjoying God's creation and learning to practice silence and listening to God in prayer. Hope to see you there!

Women’s Bible Study — All women are invited to join us this summer for a book study on Adorned: Living Out the Beauty of the Gospel Together. We will meet twice a month at Redeemer on Saturday mornings starting July 8th at 9:00 AM. Cost is $14 per book. More information about the study and a sign-up are at the Welcome Desk.

Food Pantry — We are in need of 2 or 3 couples willing to serve on Saturday mornings from 8:00-10:00 AM. The Pantry is open the 2nd, 3rd, and last Saturday each month- never on Holiday weekends. This would allow us enough staff to rotate (once a month), and provide subs. Please be in prayer for us regarding these needs, and be receptive to God perhaps giving you a tap on your heart to serve in this ministry. Please contact Dick Demien (414-687-5357, with any questions or interest.

Serve Jesus Opportunities — We’re excited to let you know that our partnership with Wedgewood Park International School continues to grow.As we continue to build relationships with our community we have an opportunity to serve this school in a couple of ways:

  • hanging and moving bulletin boards
  • planting flowers in two of their entry ways
  • helping in August making and serving French Toast to their incoming families
  • and meeting some of the practical needs of some of their most disadvantaged families
  • Small groups, ABFs, families and individuals, this is a chance to serve this summer and grow our partnership with Wedgewood. If you’re interested in helping or want more information please contact Pastor Bob.

New In the Library — In the library you will find a copy of each of Pastor Dave’s “good read” books of the month. There are on top of the bookshelf directly across the room from the doors. Check them out!

Traveling This Summer? — If you have plans to travel this summer, electronic giving gives you a convenient way to keep up with your intended tithes and offerings. Your consistent support is vital to our church, especially during the summer. To assist you, the church provides a convenient electronic giving option for setting up single or regular contributions. Summer Office Hours — The church office will close at noon on Fridays throughout the summer months. We will resume full days on Fridays after Labor Day.

Backyard VBS — In today’s culture not every parent is bringing their kid to church, thus we need to find a way to bring the Vacation Bible School to the kids in their own backyard! (Literally)This summer, we are excited to do this again and YOU are invited to help make this happen! We need families who are willing to donate their backyard (or local park) for a week and help spread the word about Backyard VBS to neighbors and friends. Our trained students will handle the fun and lessons, we just need a place to host.A club lasts Monday through Thursday with the option to either be in the morning or in the afternoon. If you are interested in hosting a club or have further questions, please feel free to contact Pastor Mike.

Momentum — All single adults (40+) are welcome on Friday nights at Redeemer, arrive between 6:30-7:00 PM (2nd Friday is off-site). It will be an intentional Christian community, striving to live a life centered on prayer, pursuing faithful relationship and seeking ministry opportunities. We are inclusive no matter what "life" has brought your way and we maintain a safe opportunity for fellowship. Invite others and come as you can.

Mentoring — Why not partner this winter with another believer to work through the challenges and joys of life where you become more effective in learning how to apply God’s Word to your life? Mentoring is unique because it offers you the chance to drill down a little deeper in your spiritual life through the encouragement, focus and accountability of a trained mentor. Not sure but you are curious? Contact Pastor Bob to sign-up.

Staying Connected — There is more than one way to stay connected with news and events at Redeemer. In addition to reading the bulletin each week, you can also connect via email or through Facebook. Please contact the church office to join one or more of our email lists:

Do you have a place you call “community”? — Do you regularly have a group that challenges you to go to the next level in your spiritual formation through reading, prayer, the disciplines, the one-anothers? If you have to think for more than two seconds, the answer you're looking for is, "No, I don't have a community...yet." Now is a great time to start looking for Christian community. Prayerfully consider joining an Adult Bible Fellowship on Sunday mornings or a becoming a part of one of our small groups that meet throughout the week. More information contact Pastor Dave.
