Welcome to Discipleship Ministries!

Did you know that for the follower of Jesus we are to become more and more like Him where we work, where we play, how we think and how we relate to others? No matter if you’re still searching for God or have been a follower of Jesus for a long time, the discipleship ministries at Redeemer offer everyone opportunities to go deeper with Jesus in the caring environment of a Christian community. Email Pastor Bob or call him at (414) 541-5580.

Check It Out- is a great starting point for those who have begun to attend at Redeemer and would like to know more about the church in a pressure-free environment. Check It Out will introduce you to some of the basics of Redeemer and then after the second class you will have a free Pizza lunch with Pastor Dave along with the opportunity to ask any questions you have.

You don't have to run the race alone!

If you are a person that is not sure about your relationship with God, or perhaps you are a newer follower of Jesus that wants to be grounded in the foundational truths and practices of the Christian faith, we want to hear from you!

The Starting Point material covers Life Questions like the credibility of the Bible, why Jesus came to earth; and forgiveness. Deeper Roots consists of 2, four week classes during the ABF hour. Any and all are welcome to attend these classes on how to grow deeper in your relationship with Christ in the areas of God's Word, Cultivating the Inner-Life, Living Missionally, Being in Community and Worshipping Jesus. Watch for more specifics soon!

A smaller gathering people who like you are on a spiritual journey seeking to love God deeply. Relationships where you feel safe to be more vulnerable and receive the encouragement we all need through God’s Word. That refuge where friendships are built, laughter is shared and support is given as you struggle together through life’s challenges.

One of the best ways to be involved and spiritually grow at Redeemer is through a small group. Small groups often have around 6 to 12 people and can be made up of young families, grandparents, college students or a collection of everybody. The best part is small groups create an environment where friendship often thrives and its members draw closer to Jesus! Sign-up today!

As followers of Jesus a life of formation and transformation is a complex one. Many times to move us to a new level of spiritual maturity we need some specific tools for spiritual growth.

Here at Redeemer we offer specialized training in marriage, leadership, money, developing the disciple's heart to name just a few. These are shorter classes that focus both on learning and on putting what you learn into practice. If you would like to learn more about upcoming classes contact Pastor Bob.

How do I develop greater consistency in my relationship with Jesus? Where can I find answers when I come to a spiritual fork in the road? Many times we're just looking for another person to help us walk through the early stages of faith or life circumstances in marriage, family, work, hardships and more. A mentoring relationship in many ways helps us become more effective in applying God’s Word successfully to our everyday lives!

Here at Redeemer we offer several pathways to be mentored. For the person new in the faith or investigating the claims of Jesus we offer Starting Point. Perhaps you're looking for training to be come a more effective leader or just someone to offer some Life on Life mentoring to help you apply God's Word to your life circumstances. Whatever the need, we would like to do whatever we can to help you grow closer to Jesus!

If you would like to learn more about mentoring at Redeemer contact Pastor Bob.

We are committed to reaching our community with the love of Jesus! “Serve Jesus” is one key ways we as a church intentionally build relationships with our neighbors trusting God to change their lives for all eternity! This year we are encouraging everyone to get involved through their ABF, small group or just sign-up at the Welcome Desk to join a group currently connecting with our community for Christ!

•Neighborhood Christmas. As we seek to "unleash the love of Jesus on 5000" we want to bless up to 10 struggling families in our community this Christmas. One of our key core values reads in part, "... We value being personally engaged as “good neighbors” in our own city and neighborhoods, living out our love for God, investing in high-impact efforts,..."

•BREATHE special needs respite care provides a fun, safe, evening out for families with special needs kids and their typical siblings. BREATHE launched in September and was positively received!

God’s Kidz in the Hood, a ministry to inner city youth offers opportunities to tutor, spend time with the kids, help remodel the ministry home, offer childcare or bring a meal.

Adullam, a Christian warehouse ministry serving the inner city poor offers opportunities to serve a monthly meal (which our church is doing once a month), help clean weekly or engage in a variety of projects to improve the ministry warehouse.
